First Gig

On March 23rd, my still nameless band had a gig opening for the Underscore Orkestra at the Black Swan in Tivoli, NY. We performed about five songs, including two originals (more to come!). To read more about the show, see my friend Rachel's music blog, Ammuse's Weblog.

New Year's 2010!!

For New Year's many people (including myself) attended a masquerade fund raiser for the new Hudson-based radio station WGXC. The event took place at The Basilica Industria, a performing arts space located at the end of town, just past the railway station. Many local business were present selling food and drink, and if you "forgot" your festive mask, they had some for sale by the door! There were countless musical performers on two different stages throughout the evening so if you got too cold your best option was to dance!

We did not forget our masks, but wore hats with veils instead!
